The current pool schedule can be viewed and downloaded by clicking on the link below. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. Remember, it's possible the pool schedule may change, so feel free to contact the Y to inquire about any of those changes. During the school year, Oskaloosa School Early Out Wednesdays will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. There will be open swim from 2:30 to 3:45 pm on those Wednesdays.
During the Y's Open Swim, please keep safety in mind. Lap swimmers, please don't ignore proper lap swim protocol:
- Lap Swimming Tips: Please enter the pool from the shallow end. To avoid accidents, when entering an occupied lane, please get the first swimmer's acknowledgement that you are there. Please get kickboards, pull buoys, etc., before entering the pool.
- Directions: If there are one or two simmers in the lane, they must split the lane in half. The entrance of a third person immediately changes the lane to "circle" swimming format.
