Membership Online Registration

The Mahaska County YMCA is pleased to offer current members the option of managing your membership account on-line. As a member, you will be able to register for programs, renew your membership, pay your program invoice, and give donations. Creating and Managing Your Online YMCA Account

  1. If you are not currently a member of the YMCA, you must begin your membership by visiting the Mahaska County YMCA in person. Once that is accomplished, come back to this site and continue to step 2.
  2. Before you can create your user name and password, have ready the following information:
    • Primary Member Last Name
    • Primary Member Birth Date
    • Primary Member Zip Code
    • Your email address
  3. Your email address will be your user ID.
  4. Have ready a password only you will know.
  5. Click here to go to the on-line registration page. A new page will open and you can then click "I don't have an account but I want to create one."

Please note: If you are unsure who the primary member is on your Y account, please call the Y (641.673.8411) during normal business hours. You must also call if your current email address is not current or included with your YMCA contact information before you can activate an on-line account.

Once your account is created, you may update information about you and your family, manage your account, check on your account balance, and even register for programs, all when it is convenient with your schedule.

Online Registration Questions

1. I have found the program that I want to register for online, but when I try to create my user name and password, I keep getting an error message. Is there a problem?
The information you are required to supply for online registration is your email address and password or your last name, birth date, and zip code. These must match what we currently have in your membership. If your information has changed, you will need to contact the YMCA to update your information before you will be able to use online registration. 2. I can log into online registration, but when my family member names appear on the screen, the person I want to register does not appear. What now?
For anyone to register for a program through online registration, they must be a member of the YMCA. That includes any of your family members. If the person you wish to register is not present on your membership account, they will not be present on your family member listing during online registration. Please contact the YMCA to update your information, then you will be able to register this person through online registration.

3. I cannot locate the program I want to register for. Is it still being offered?
Not all programs are currently available for online registration. All programs have specific registration dates and will only be available online during these times.  If you cannot find the program you are looking for, it may not be available for registration yet, or the deadline for registration may have already passed. Please contact the YMCA. You will be able to find out the details regarding a program and be able to register in person.

4. I was in the process of purchasing my classes through online registration and I lost my internet connection, the page timed out, or my receipt never appeared. Did I get charged? Am I on the roster?
When errors like this occur, predicting exactly what happened is difficult. Contact the YMCA, and we will be able to access your account and let you know if you are registered for the program.

5. If I have made all the efforts I know, but I am still having trouble with online registration, who do I contact?

We will contact you within 48 hours.

General Program and Membership Questions

1. How do I know for sure that I am on the roster for a class?
Your receipt, which you should print out each time you register and pay for a class online, is your guarantee. Bring it with you to your first class.

2. I have decided not to attend a class that I registered for and paid online, how do I cancel?
To have your registration cancelled you must contact the YMCA.

3. I am unhappy with an experience I have had with a program that I registered for online. Who do I contact?
