If a child fails to attend the first two (2) swim lesson class times, their spot will be offered to participants on the waiting list unless the Aquatics Coordinator is contacted.

Swim tests for patrons ages 13 and under will be conducted to ensure the safety of all swimmers. The YMCA will have two lifeguards scheduled during open swim so one can guard while the other conducts the tests. Youth may be tested weekly. The skill and age of the patron will determine any restrictions which may be imposed. To view the complete policy and color band descriptors, click here.
