The Mahaska County YMCA has been serving the Mahaska County area for over 105 years.
It was establ
YMCA Logoished in 1903 in a three-story building on the square in downtown. President Roosevelt provided the dedication speech on April 28, 1903 according to an April 29, 1903 Oskaloosa Herald article. President Roosevelt believed in the Y's missions and goals of commitment the current YMCA adheres today.
